The Holy Mother has love beyond words that we can bring into our hearts by just asking. In the book of Luke when Jesus is brought to the temple to be dedicated to the Lord the family is met by Simeon a devote man awaiting the coming of the Messiah. When Simeon heard the cry of the babe his heart leaped with joy knowing that was the cry of the savior he had waited for. You see he had asked the Lord to allow him to see the messiah before he died and this day his prayer had been answered. He rejoiced in seeing the baby savior and shared a deep message with his parents.
28 Simeon took Him into his arms, and blessed and praised and thanked God, and said, 29 “Now, Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to leave [this world] in peace, According to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your Salvation, 31 Which You have prepared in the presence of all peoples, 32 A Light for revelation to the Gentiles [to disclose what was previously unknown],
And [to bring] the praise and honor and glory of Your people Israel.”
33 Joseph and Mary were amazed at what was said about Him. 34 Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, “Listen carefully: this Child is appointed and destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign that is to be opposed— 35 and a sword [of deep sorrow] will pierce through your own soul—so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
Mary’s heart although filled with joy and the knowing of our Lord and his redemption to heaven still presents sorrow for us as children of God. Mary knows our hearts and she only wants us to return to Love and her beloved son Christ Jesus. That is her message throughout time, “come home, be the love you are created as.” The mother’s heart is a passageway to a deep and freeing love that allows us to recognize our oneness of being. It raises our vibration, ignites life in our bodies, faith in our hearts and peace in our minds, and always leads us into the knowing of the truth of all that is good and right.
