Each day will be spent working on exploring, awakening, and transforming ourselves through meditation, prayers, dancing, movement, breathe work, creativity, and group healing sessions while at the villa, as well as daily excursions to the Lourdes Sanctuary.

Throughout the week while we are at the Sanctuary, we will experience sites that most people are not even aware of. We will begin with connecting in with the Mary at the Lourdes Grotto and then we will make our way to the original sanctuary known as The Crypt for a group prayer and Third-Eye meditation. We will attend the healing baths for a personal baptism with the Divine Mother. This is a sacred and beautiful experience which allows us to let down our walls and open our hearts to receiving the love of Mary through her healing waters and energy and through the volunteers who will be lovingly and compassionately assisting us.

One afternoon, we will walk up the hill next to the Sanctuary and experience a walking meditation through The Way of the Cross taking time at each of the Stations of the Cross to connect in and heal our own personal crosses. The magnificent statues at each station up to and including the crucifixion will transport us back to 2,000 years ago connecting us with Jesus as he works with each of us to heal that which is keeping each of us from living the life we were born to live.

We will also spend one evening gathering with other pilgrims for the Torchlight Marion Procession. This is a candlelight procession through the grounds of the Sanctuary which begins with a prayer and ends with the Priests giving a blessing.

Throughout the week, we will have free time for processing, exploring, and shopping. Lourdes is full of amazing local artisan and souvenir shops, including the delicious locally made ice-creams and fresh fruit sorbets shops, as well as lavender, soaps, and pottery shops. You can also take advantage of the tram and walking tours of Lourdes to learn the history of the town from the Middle Ages until present including a stop at the historic castle, Chateau de Fort, which provides amazing panoramic views of Lourdes.

As the sunrises over the Pyrenees, you breathe in the fresh crisp fall air filled with a sense expectation as the town of Lourdes wakes up to the pilgrims who have made their way to this mystical village known for the healing waters and love of the Divine Mother Mary.

The sunlight glistens off of the golden dome of the Rosary Basilica built in honor of the Beloved Mother as you make your way into the grotto where Mother Mary was first seen by a young girl named Bernadette. It is here that your heart skips a beat with excitement as you first experience the healing love and energy of Mother Mary. As you walk to the fountain near the grotto and the healing spring, you feel a peace come over you that reminds you of home. You drink from the healing fountain and know that these next 7 days are truly what you have been longing for to connect to the Holy Spirit and the grace of the Beloved Mother.

Our Trip

At the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountain, you will find the majestic town of Lourdes, France. Every year, thousands people make the pilgrimage to Lourdes to experience the healing powers and waters of Mother Mary. On February 11, 1858, a young peasant girl, Bernadette, was fetching firewood with her sister and friend when a beautiful woman appeared to her at the Massabielle grotto and requested that she return to the grotto. After a number of visits, Mary revealed herself to Bernadette as the “Immaculate Conception.” During one of Bernadette’s visits with Mary, she told instructed Bernadette to dig in a certain spot and to drink from the small spring that began to bubble up. So after, countless reports of cures from drinking the water were reported. Since 1858, Lourdes has been one of the most frequented Marian sites as people from all over the world make their way to experience the healing waters of Lourdes.

Even though Mother Mary has not made a physical appearance in Lourdes in a very long time, Mary’s presence is felt though out the town in the grotto, in the sanctuaries, in the baths, while walking along the streets and the Stations of the Cross, and through the shops and restaurants where the dedication and love for Mary runs deep and unending.

Our pilgrimage begins in the city of Toulouse, where we will meet and drive to Lourdes. Here we will make our way to our Villa. This is a charming villa 15 minutes from the center Lourdes which offers a peace environment perfect for creating a safe and enjoyable space for our retreat. Whether sitting on the large patio, enjoy the pool and lovey yard, lounge in the living room or relax in the game room, this location offers us the unique opportunity to delve into the French culture and ourselves.
